I have been trying to make a video for this song since July.  But  I didn't like any of my ideas for it until a few weeks ago~

I used After Effects and Adobe Illustrator to make the video.  The music is by Janelle Monae and I have no rights to it.

Tekken Hearts

Way back in July of 2013 I started working on a little project that I posted the tests for, but somewhere a long the line this project got pushed aside and forgotten.

I recently found it again and I have sort of finished it.  I don't want to say it's finished finished because I didn't really tie down the characters so there so model issues, but I think the feel and idea is felt so don't mind posting it.

Hopefully there are some Tekken and some Kingdom Hearts fans out there!

Yuna - Someone Who Can (Fanmade lyric video)

I really like Yuna's music, I use it a lot in my animations (Dream has instrumental track from Here Comes the Sun, Netravati's track was inspired by a fanmade acoustic version of one her Malay songs, I made a bad mv of Live Your Life, and I'm sure the list will go on!)

It took about a week to make.  It's my 1st lyric video and I intend on making more as the summer goes on.

Done with College, Now What?

I finished 4 years at California College of the Arts May 17th.  Now I have to keep myself busy and work on my reel.
The time is soon approaching when I have to choose which region I want to live in.California didn't mystify me like it does so many other people.  (Though I believe the trees sparkle.)
Oh well.

Here's hoping for a part-time job and a lot of exercises/lyric videos!

I have the video!

I'm proud of what it is, though I wish I had a bit more time to tie down the characters in some of the places, and fix up a few animation bits, but for the time constraint I am pleased.

Netravati & MIssy

So I've been super busy with school, most importantly my senior film!
It is premiering tomorrow night at the CCA animation show at 7pm.  There will be a 5:30 reception and an art gallery full of pre production and other cool art pieces by animation students.

Anyways, here is my movie poster, made in all of 10 minutes.

I kinda like it heehee.

My 1st shot!

This is an actual shot from the Marine Mammal Center short.
I like it~ It took forever to get this sucker on model....
the green lines around the eyes mark where the lighter color around its eyes are.

Sea Lion!

This is an animation test for a short I'm helping with. There is a team of about 12 to 15.  It will be an educational video for the Marine Mammal Center in San Francisco.

It's ultimately about Domoic Acid which is getting a lot sea lions sick around the Bay.  More on all this later.
I like this test, but I need to figure out how the front fins help propel the sea lion through the water.

Netravati

So me and my girl, Netravati, are struggling in our relationship.  I keep trying to design her instead of letting her design her self, but I ain't got time to let her design herself!
so this is where I'm at right now, and it probably won't change too much from here but I like I've said that before.

 I like the 1 in the top right corner and the one in the bottom left corner. basic shape is a rectangle, but the ones I like give her a little feminine shape. Deciding how she wears that scarf is killing me.

 Here are some poses that I'll need at some point in the short.

and her face! I like her face, it might go under changes, but at this moment today, I don't see that happening.
Now I'll give her sassy camel friend more attention...
